The story of the golden crown adorning the fragrance
In this creation, the mythical Sassanian bird Shahbaz, with wings outstretched, stands as the guardian of an eternal fragrance concealed within the glass. Upon its chest shines the emblem of the Derafsh Kaviani—a timeless relic of Persia’s ancient grandeur.
Beneath this golden crown, entwined serpents are engraved, symbols of the darkness and evil that Ferdowsi, in the Shahnameh, gave life to through the tale of Zahhak, revealing the eternal duality of good and evil. Here, the bird’s resolute claws crush the serpents’ necks, an image of the everlasting triumph of light over shadow.
The first collection of this brand, named “Derafsh Kaviani”, is inspired by the grandeur and symbols of Sasanian Iran; a series of oriental, authentic, and enduring fragrances that, set against a modern aesthetic, revive the spirit of a civilization and mark the beginning of Advocus’s story.
